The "Wipe Israel off the Map" Hoax
The president of Iran threatened genocide of the people in Israel when he said that he wanted to "wipe Israel off the map," right? That's what the political elite told us, and we put our trust in princes, so they must be telling us the truth. Bush also told us that Ahmadinejad has nukes (see clip below).
Think again. Ahmadinejad is not somebody I admire, but he did NOT threaten to exterminate the Jews or "throw them into the Mediterranean Sea," as I've heard people say.
What is the truth about his "wipe Israel off the map" statement? See this and this on the subject, and view the clips below. The statement is best translated as "remove the Israeli regime from the 'pages of time'." On another occasion, Ahmadinejad added that he desired what happened to the USSR to happen to the Israeli regime. Dick Cheney's desire to develop race-specific bio-weapons (just to name one outrage of the U.S. Empire) is a lot more objectionable than Ahmadinejad's rhetoric, but nobody is talking about that.
[Take note in the second clip of the appearance of Pat Robertson who believes that biblical prophecy points to Israel as the center of gravity of end times events. See Chapter 6 of The Way, the Truth and the Sword for the New Testament teaching on the identity of the true Israel.]
