Ron Paul calls for an end of the Afghanistan occupation
We've accepted the notion that perpetual war brings peace. Orwell called this "double-think."
Ron Paul suggests actually asking the question, "what would motivate somebody to attack us?" (Hint: it's not because they hate our freedoms and our wealth.) In response to Congressman Paul, Dr. Kagan actually suggests that the desire of people to commit suicide terrorism against us would exist whether the U.S. was involved in Middle Eastern affairs or not. It's amazing that people are still listening to that kind of rubbish.
