And Paul Watson at Prison Planet has critiqued the latest "bin Laden tape," especially the timing of it, once again, being politically opportune for the military-industrial complex.
Of course, bin Laden is the Goldstein of the American government. Fear is the lifeblood of tyranny and empire. But perfect love casts out fear. Love is the "kryptonite" of the powerful. But of course, Obama extends the post 9/11 "state of emergency" to keep the fear up and the extraordinary powers at their fingertips.
But again, is bin Laden even alive?? Are we really expected to believe that the two men pictured below are the same person?
If bin Laden was really dead, wouldn't these terrorist organizations be broadcasting this to gain support for their cause?
ReplyDeleteLosing their great leader would be harmful to their cause, wouldn't it? I'm having a hard time imagining this as a rallying cry: "Come join our cause, we don't have a leader, he's dead, don't you want to join?"
