Holder: No Equality under Hate Crimes Bill
Attorney General Holder is apparently proud of the fact that the hate crime legislation will only protect groups who have historically been targets of violence (i.e. primarily minority races and homosexuals). This sets up in our legal framework the identification of special classes of people. The Constitution prohibits that when it states that titles of nobility are prohibited and where it states that all citizens have the rights of equal protection of the laws.
But Holder proudly admits that this legislation is not about equality.
