Unemployment figures understate the reality

The 7.6% Unemployment figure released today does not take into account those who have given up looking for a job, nor does it take into account those who are under-employed (i.e. they can't get enough hours at their job). True unemployment is 18% as shown by Economist John Williams.
MSNBC explains:
(Then they support the "stimulus," which we cannot afford, and which I don't support.)
