This is what "support Israel" looks like in real life.

Watching this video ought to be a pre-requisite for any person who wants to voice an opinion on the Israeli bombing and invasion of Gaza (warning: only watch if you have a strong stomach...know that it's ugly stuff).
Fellow Christians: let the full weight of this video hit you. See these image-bearers of God in the real world of human suffering, not in the slogan world of politics and the civic religion. Imagine yourself as one of the Palestinian civilians, listening to the screams of family and friends, and viewing the carnage first hand. If you're still held captive by a violent ideology that makes excuses for wanton destruction, this is 9 minutes that should change your life.
Christianity is a religion that reaches out to the down-trodden and the oppressed. A religion that exposes evil (Ephesians 5:11) and rebukes the oppressor (Isaiah 1:16). Not a religion that either tacitly or explicitly endorses the killing and maiming of children, women, and men. The children in this video are not responsible for the 4 Israeli deaths due to Hamas rocket attacks. Stop playing the judge, and choosing death for innocent people based on some twisted Machiavellian moral calculation that the government has pre-packaged for you to repeat.
To the extent that the church has bought into militaristic Christian Zionism, we have betrayed the gospel of Jesus Christ, and have become propaganda agents for satanic imperial domination. Please wake up out of your stupor and help to wake up your Christian brothers and sisters with this video.
And if you're not a Christian, I beg you to understand that what you see in John Hagee, George W. Bush, and other prominent militant Christians is not Christianity. True Christians are peacemakers who love and serve even their enemies. Read the four gospels and see what you think of Jesus. Look at him, not at those who falsely claim his name, to see if his way is the most beautiful way; I'm confident that you'll find that it is. He is the way, the truth, and the life, but many Christians have discarded his Kingdom in favor of the sword (hence, the title of the book, The Way, the Truth, and the Sword).
