Ron Paul on U.S. participation in oppression, antagonizing Muslim/Arab world

Palestinians in an Israeli-controlled concentration camp. U.S. Government must accept some of the moral responsibility for oppression of Palestinians. For U.S. to condemn Islamic countries for backing Hamas is hypocritical, since we're backing Israel. Empire is draining U.S. financially; militarism needs to be cut back, but nobody in D.C. is talking about it. Debt to increase at least $2 trillion this year. 2009 will bring reluctance on the part of foreigners buying U.S. debt; government hopes to borrow, but when that proves difficult, will print money...trillions of dollars of new money to bail out Wall Street and police the world will lead to inflation and devaluation of the dollar. We're in for big trouble on the world stage and big trouble financially at home. Obama administration is no change; militarism and empire and inflation and the welfare state are still endorsed by both parties. Attacks on our personal liberties will continue as government becomes more authoritarian. Alert and educate people about the principles of the Constitution!
