Henry Kissinger just might be the foremost advocate for world government alive today (though the aged David Rockefeller might take the cake). To Kissinger, the devastating economic crisis is, first and foremost, an "opportunity" for Obama to bring about the "new world order" that control freak globalists have long yearned for. Kurt Nimmo at Infowars reports:
It’s too bad war criminal and Rockefeller minion Henry Kissinger is not a few decades younger. If he was, he might be turning somersaults and slapping high fives over the current state of the global economy. Instead, Kissinger has penned an ebullient — for Kissinger — editorial lauding the coming depression for the International Herald Tribune.Kissinger's latest propaganda offensive against national sovereignty and in favor of a "new world order" (i.e. world government) was also recently featured on the "news"...
According to Kissinger, the rapidly unfolding economic depression and accompanying misery for billions of people “generates a unique opportunity for creative diplomacy” to usher in “a world financial order” and force sovereign nations “to face the reality that its dilemmas can be mastered only by common action,” that is to say through world government and a New World Order, a phrase Kissinger repeats several times in the article.
What does this "new world order" look like, to Kissinger? One element of the plan can be seen in a recent statement by a former Kissinger policy planner, calling for a new global monetary authority. This would end national monetary sovereignty, and possibly usher in a one-world currency. Certainly, at least a one-world money system of some kind is at the forefront of their agenda.
Is there any reason to believe that Obama will heed the call by Kissinger and others to advance a new world order?
Well, it is clear that Obama, himself, is a proponent of globalism. And he has discussed his view of "world order" on the David Letterman show. In fact, the assumption of Obama as a stooge for the new world order has even seeped into popular culture via the Colbert Report.
Additionally, Obama has appointed an energy czar who is a socialist globalist. And of course, Obama's own Vice President, Joe Biden, is a proponent of the new world order (in his words: "I love the New World Order." Other members of the Obama administration (see here and here) are also like-minded one-worlders.
Interestingly, Kissinger and the Obama team are moving forward with their rhetoric at the same time that the very elite of the establishment press (the Financial Times of London) is openly calling for un-democratic (i.e. dictatorial) world government, while also Fox News is points out that Obama will establish a "New Economic Order." And coinciding with all of these mainstream media reports, the EU President has been openly calling for global "governance" (i.e. government) as the "solution" to the financial crisis.
Considering the crescendo in the chorus of calls for a new world order, it seems that 2008 has laid the groundwork for the next stages of the new world order, and that the widely admired pseudo-messianic Obama administration is the chosen vehicle for taking those next steps in the direction of a one world order.
(Also, see commentary from Alan Stang, Ron Paul, and Kurt Nimmo, on the subject; and these excellent video clips here, here, here and here on the subject of the new world order.)
And lest we forget Kissinger's track record of working to establish global government, here are just a few of his most honest moments:
"It cannot happen without U.S. participation, as we are the most significant single component. Yes, there will be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change its perceptions."
"NAFTA represents the single most creative step towards a New World Order."
"Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government."
"The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer."
And don't forget about David Rockefeller's most famous gems:
"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order. "
"We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries."
